Bidjan Tschaitschian, The FIR-BoxX Project

The Hamburg-based IT expert Bidjan Tschaitschian uses digital finite impulse response (FIR) technology on the basis of the FIR-BoxX developed by Andreas Heggendorn, Switzerland, to ensure ultra-linear and phase-correct performance for each loudspeaker driver, as well as improved crossover management. The 8-channel FIR-BoxX amplifier allows phase-time, amplitude, and room correction, and has the potential to bring personalised high-end listening experiences to ordinary homes.
